Using Buddy
Terms of use.

These terms cover the connected Buddy service operated by Lincoln Technologies in Michigan, United States. Contact ap.lincoln@outlook.com with questions.
The app and connected service
Buddy provides cloud-based conversation and creation tools. An internet connection, service availability, and consent to required AI processing are needed for cloud features. Some features require an account. Buddy is intended for adults. Keep your account credentials secure and use an account you are authorized to access.
The App Store app license is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless another license is expressly shown in the App Store. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace Apple's purchase terms or mandatory consumer rights.
Purchases and game credits
The App Store shows your local price, taxes, device compatibility, and purchase conditions before you buy. App download pricing and optional game-credit packs are separate. Where available, game credits are one-time consumable purchases for AI game creation and edits, not a subscription. Purchased credits do not expire and are recorded to the Buddy account used for the purchase. Playing saved games is free. A pack does not guarantee a particular number or quality of generated games, unlimited cloud capacity, or perpetual access to every future feature.
Buddy shows a maximum credit estimate before a charged build. Credits are reserved while the build runs; only a successfully saved result is charged. Unused reservations and reservations for failed builds are returned after build-status and usage reconciliation. A refunded or revoked purchase can reduce the wallet balance or leave an adjustment that future credits must cover before another charged build.
Refunds
Apple processes App Store purchases and refund requests. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Signing out, uninstalling Buddy, or deleting an account does not itself request a refund. The company's custom-project and hosting refund policies do not replace Apple's terms or mandatory consumer rights for Buddy app and credit purchases. Any separate new paid offering or subscription must be disclosed before you choose to buy it.
AI output needs your judgment
Buddy can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate results. Review generated work, links, calculations, and code before using or publishing them. Buddy is not an emergency service or a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for decisions and actions taken using its output. No particular result, continuous availability, or error-free output is guaranteed.
Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You give Lincoln Technologies and its service providers permission to host, copy, transmit, and process that content as needed to respond to your requests, save the items you choose, maintain the service, and provide support. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us. Processing and retention are explained in the privacy policy.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload material and request its use, including photos, voices, personal information, and copyrighted work. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, we do not claim ownership of output generated for you. AI output may resemble other output, may not be exclusive, and may not qualify for copyright protection. Review it for third-party rights before distribution.
Acceptable use
Do not use Buddy to break the law, exploit children, commit fraud, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass others, create deceptive impersonations, distribute malware, bypass security or access controls, or interfere with the service. Do not submit another person's sensitive information without appropriate authority. Optional licensed voices are available only within the permissions and restrictions of their applicable licenses; selecting a voice does not grant ownership of a person's identity or an unrestricted right to imitate them.
Publishing and external services
A generated preview is not automatically a production-ready or published website. Check content, accessibility, security, forms, payment integrations, and other connections before launch. When you intentionally share or publish content to another service, its terms and privacy practices also apply. Apple, OpenAI, Netlify, ElevenLabs, and other third parties retain their own rights; their names do not imply endorsement of Buddy.
Availability, limits, and account closure
Features and supported regions may change as providers, laws, and technical requirements change. Reasonable usage and security limits may apply to protect service availability. We may restrict access to address abuse, security incidents, or legal requirements. Material paid-service changes will be communicated as required by law. Nothing in these terms removes a refund, remedy, or other right that applicable law requires.
You can stop using Buddy at any time. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your account or saved information. For deletion requests, use the instructions in our privacy policy or email ap.lincoln@outlook.com. We may verify account ownership and explain any legally required retention.
Our software and these terms
Lincoln Technologies retains its rights in Buddy's original software, artwork, and branding. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses. See copyright and licenses. We may update these terms and will post the effective date here, with additional notice or consent where required. Your mandatory rights and Apple's applicable app-license terms prevail over a conflicting provision.
